Once at the gorillas, you’ll observe them for up to one hour, following strict guidelines to minimize disturbance and risk of disease transmission.

Are the gorilla treks physically challenging?

 The gorilla trek requires a moderate level of physical fitness. The terrain is often steep and muddy, so it’s important to be prepared for a bit of hiking. However, there are experienced guides and porters available for assistance, and the trek duration is variable, so it’s tailored to your pace.

What is the best time of year to visit?
